The Scion Peace Doctrine
"Bringing an end to the Human-Scion War."
Abstract:
In a historic and momentous gathering, representatives from the United Defense Force (UDF) and the Scion Convergence Council, convened to establish a lasting peace following a protracted and destructive conflict known as the Human-Scion War.
The catalyst for this gathering was the transformation of the once ominous "Dark Planet" into the peaceful "New Core" by the Scion Convergence. With Earth standing on the brink of possible devastation, this assembly marked a pivotal turning point in the course of humanity's destiny.
Resolution Preamble:
Recognizing the destructive consequences of the Human-Scion War, both set of consituents come together with the shared goal of ensuring lasting peace and mutual prosperity.
The Scion Convergence Council agrees to meet at the newly constructed United Defense Force Embassy on Earth's Moon (Luna).
The following Articles summarize the primary agreements made in closure of the Human-Scion War:
Article I: Ceasefire and Mutual Non-Aggression
- Both parties hereby declare an immediate ceasefire, ending all hostilities, military actions, and acts of aggression.
- A mutual non-aggression pact shall be upheld, preventing the initiation of armed conflict between the UDF and the Scion Convergence Council.
Article II: Territorial Sovereignty
- The Scion Convergence Council shall maintain their sovereignty over the New Core, and no territorial claims shall be made by the UDF within the New Core or any other Scion Convergence Council-controlled regions.
- Earth and its surrounding territories shall remain under the jurisdiction of the UDF.
Article III: Scientific Cooperation and the Pegasus II Device
- The Scion Convergence Council pledges their advanced knowledge and technology to assist the UDF in the construction and operation of the Pegasus II Device—a monumental endeavor aimed at securing Earth's future against existential threats.
- The UDF and the Scion Convergence Council shall collaborate closely on scientific research, sharing expertise and resources to advance knowledge and foster mutual understanding.
Article IV: Freedom of Movement and Information
- Both parties shall permit the free movement of diplomats, scientists, and individuals between Earth and the New Core for peaceful and scientific purposes.
- A secure channel of communication shall be established to facilitate the exchange of information and to address concerns promptly.
Article V: Cultural Exchange and Understanding
- Cultural exchange programs shall be initiated to promote understanding, tolerance, and cooperation between Earth's inhabitants and the Scion Convergence Council.
- Both parties shall foster an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual respect among their populations.
Article VI: Conflict Resolution
- Disputes or disagreements shall be resolved through peaceful dialogue, arbitration, or mediation, with the goal of maintaining peaceful coexistence.
- The UDF and the Scion Convergence Council shall appoint representatives to a Joint Council to oversee conflict resolution efforts.
Article VII: Future Relations
- Both parties commit to working towards long-term stability and cooperation, with the aspiration of building a prosperous and harmonious future.
- This treaty may be reviewed and amended by mutual agreement as circumstances evolve.
Resolution:
In witness whereof, the representatives of the United Defense Force and the Scion Convergence Council hereby affix their signatures to this Human-Scion War Peace Doctrine, sealing the commitment to peace, collaboration, and the shared pursuit of a better future for all.
